US Navy Plans Compact Air-to-Air Missile

This week, the US Navy announced plans for a new compact air-to-air missile (CAAM), optimised for engagements at a shorter range.

Navy spokesperson: “Compact Air-to-Air Missile (CAAM) is a future inner boundary weapon. Requirements are being evaluated and assessed by the Navy at this time. We have no further updates at this time”.
