The UK will announce a trade ban on Israeli settlements tomorrow, an official told i24NEWS. Foreign Minister Ed Miliband will unveil the measures after a cabinet meeting.

PM Andy Burnham informed President Trump of the proposed ban in a Monday phone call, per The Times. No 10 said Burnham stressed the importance of the two-state solution. The Trump administration is expected to attack the decision.

The measures were fast-tracked after Miliband said on September 1 that new sanctions would come in the weeks ahead. The UK has raised concerns over Israel's plan to build the E1 settlement between Ma'ale Adumim and Jerusalem.
