Saudi FM Faisal bin Farhan, at an Arab foreign ministers summit in Jordan:

"East Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian state. All unilateral measures -- settlements, land confiscation, and changes to the status quo at the holy places -- are invalid and cannot establish any legal reality."

He said Jerusalem, including Al-Aqsa, is under continuous violations aimed at damaging its Islamic and Christian identity, and condemned Israel's "military violations" in Gaza as a direct provocation of the ceasefire agreement.
