Qatar Restricts Hamas After New Leader

BIG: Qatar has reportedly imposed new restrictions on Hamas following the appointment of Khalil al Hayya as the group’s leader.

According to KAN, Doha was dissatisfied with Hamas selecting Khalil al Hayya (Muslim Brotherhood aligned) over Khaled Mashal (Iran aligned) and responded by tightening restrictions on the group’s leadership operating in Qatar. - KAN
