Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz:

“Given the possibility that, due to the economic stranglehold and intense pressure Iran is under, it may decide to take action against Israel, I once again warn the Iranian leadership: Any attack on Israel, for any reason and from anywhere, will be met with a powerful response that will inflict severe damage on Iran--damage it has never suffered before--including strikes on its key energy facilities, which provide resources and capabilities for Iran’s war and terrorism apparatus and for attacks against Israeli civilians.

“In accordance with the directives of the prime minister and myself, the IDF is on alert and prepared to carry out the mission.

“Such a blow would set Iran back decades and further destabilize the ayatollah regime, which the Iranian people so deeply despise and long to see fall.”
