Italy Extends Schengen Suspension

Italy is extending its suspension of EU Schengen free movement arrangements with Spain for a further 15 days, pushing past the current August 31 expiry date.

The extension follows a mass arrival of migrants crossing from Morocco into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta.
