The Israeli Security Cabinet is expected to discuss launching the pilot phase of a plan to restore basic services in Gaza, deliver humanitarian aid, and establish shelters in areas outside Hamas control, with the initiative expected to begin in Rafah.
The plan includes the construction of temporary housing for Gaza residents. According to reports, anyone seeking to live in these areas will undergo strict security screening to ensure they are not affiliated with Hamas.
The Rafah zone would become the first area administered by the Palestinian technocratic government (NCAG), backed by the multinational International Stabilization Force (ISF).
The pilot is expected to begin in the coming weeks. If successful, it will be expanded to additional areas across Gaza. Via @AmichaiStein1
