Iraq has issued a NOTAM opening two temporary air corridors between Najaf and Iranian airspace from July 23 to August 7, with separate eastbound and westbound routes to handle increased traffic.

The timing also aligns with the annual Arbaeen pilgrimage, when millions of Iranian pilgrims travel to Najaf.
