Iran Seeks Strait of Hormuz Shipping Deal

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman: A mechanism must be formulated that guarantees the sovereignty and sovereign rights of both countries while allowing safe passage of commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

Exchanges of views are ongoing, and both sides have shown determination to reach a mechanism addressing mutual concerns and international shipping.
