Iran MFA: ‘Phone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, our country's Foreign Minister, spoke by phone on Wednesday night with Faisal bin Farhan, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia.

Our Foreign Minister, explaining the latest regional developments after the ceasefire announcement, emphasized Iran's responsible approach and stated: Unfortunately, the American side twice committed military aggression against Iran in the midst of the nuclear negotiations process, and this time, even before diplomacy and negotiations have taken shape, it is acting contrary to its commitments.

The Saudi Foreign Minister emphasized his country's support for the ceasefire agreement and ongoing efforts to restore stability and security to the region, expressing hope that the current ceasefire will pave the way for a complete end to the war and the return of security and stability to the region.’
