IDF Arabic-language spokesperson to Gaza residents:

"You are under financial fraud, and it is time for you to open your eyes. The Bank of Israel, which is entrusted with the issuance of the banknotes in your hands, recommends replacing the old banknotes with new ones. Those of you who hold them are taking a huge financial risk - very soon they will be worth nothing and you will be left with nothing. Hamas is taking advantage of your plight to get rid of the invalid banknotes."
