IDF Says Hamas Commander Killed in Khan Younis

The Israeli military says a Hamas Nukhba Force squad commander was killed in a strike in Khan Younis last Thursday.

Jihad Samih Mahmoud Ismail took part in the October 7 invasion and in the abduction of Israeli tank crewmen near Nirim, according to the IDF, which said he was killed to remove the threat he posed after advancing attacks in violation of the ceasefire.
