Hezbollah MP Ehab Hamadeh: The U.S.-brokered Lebanon-Israel agreement aims only to ignite civil war among the Lebanese and serve Israel. He praised Speaker Nabih Berri's stance against it, calling the deal sedition.

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, a Hezbollah ally, warned against removing Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal amid reports he could be ousted, saying: “Do not interfere with the Army or dismiss Haykal.”

Lebanon's Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri warned that a government agreement with Israel could drag the country into internal conflict, calling it 10 times worse than the deal the two signed on May 17, 1983.

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri:

“Israel's withdrawal from any district in the South will coincide with it being cleared of weapons. This is what I have pledged on behalf of Hezbollah, provided that Israel also commits.”

Lebanese Parliament Speaker and Hezbollah ally Nabih Berri said Hezbollah remains committed to the ceasefire outlined in the U.S.-Iran MoU, stressing:

"Hezbollah is committed to the ceasefire, as stipulated in the U.S.-Iran MoU, as long as Israel fully adheres to it."

Iran's Qalibaf in a call with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said the war must end on all fronts, including Lebanon.

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri told Al-Jumhuriya that Israel is not entitled to freedom of action under the memorandum of understanding. He said ensuring Israel's withdrawal from southern Lebanon is now the top priority and will fall within the 60-day U.S.-Iran negotiation period. Berri added that all 14 clauses were carefully drafted and that Tehran would enforce them meticulously.

Araghchi briefed Lebanon's President Aoun and Parliament Speaker Berri separately on the U.S.-Iran deal.

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, a Hezbollah ally, thanked Iran and the U.S. for including a binding clause in the memorandum of understanding requiring Israel to halt operations across Lebanon. Berri praised Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt for their role in the deal.

Both are essential to any ceasefire progress, Berri for his political weight and Hezbollah links, Heichel because no agreement moves forward without the Lebanese Army.

An official Lebanese source told Al Jazeera that Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri conveyed Hezbollah's commitment to a full mutual ceasefire to President Aoun and the American ambassador.

Axios: Hezbollah has told the Trump administration it is ready for an immediate and full ceasefire with Israel, according to Lebanese Speaker Berri.

Washington offered Hezbollah a deal: stop all attacks on northern Israel in exchange for Israel halting strikes on Beirut and its suburbs, as a first step toward a full ceasefire. Nabih Berri, Lebanon's parliament speaker and Hezbollah ally, rejected the proposal, insisting on a comprehensive and immediate ceasefire rather than a gradual process, a senior Lebanese source told Reuters.

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, leader of the Amal movement and a key Hezbollah ally, tells NBN:

"I can guarantee a full, comprehensive and immediate commitment to a ceasefire on the part of the resistance, but the question is who will oblige Israel to stop its attacks from land, sea and air and the destruction of villages and houses?"

Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament:

"The absolute priority is a ceasefire. Before reaching a ceasefire agreement, no issue will be discussed. Any attempt to manipulate the exchange rate of the Lebanese lira will have disastrous consequences."

Berri added that Lebanon's government is in "a state of stagnation" and criticized the president's positions.

U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa met with Lebanon's President Aoun and Parliament Speaker Berri in Beirut today after meeting with President Trump and Secretary Rubio in Washington.

U.S. Embassy: "Ambassador Issa reaffirmed U.S. support for efforts to restore Lebanon's sovereignty and the state's monopoly of arms."

There is a US effort to extend the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel.

Hosam al-Din Ashna, former advisor to Hassan Rouhani and a founder of Iran's intelligence service, attacked Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and warned of a split within Lebanon's Shiite community. He also condemned the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations.

Lebanon’s Al-Akhbar reports an Egyptian security delegation met a Hezbollah-linked figure under guidance of Naim Qassem to discuss a potential ceasefire initiative.

Hezbollah reportedly redirected talks to Speaker Nabih Berri, saying it believes the battlefield must play out first and that ceasefire efforts are “premature.”
