Dear Donald,

I sincerely congratulate you, such a bright, extraordinary person and politician, on the occasion of your 80th birthday!

I highly value the mutual understanding that has developed between us, which allows us to directly and frankly discuss any, even the most complex, issues on the bilateral and international agenda.

I am confident that through joint efforts we could truly give Russian-American relations a new quality, and also do much to ensure security and stability on the global stage.

I sincerely wish you good health, happiness, prosperity, and success. Please convey my best wishes to Melania and all members of your family.

U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) said he plans to publicly name alleged associates of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein before leaving Congress and said there would be no high-level arrests while Todd Blanche and Kash Patel remain in power.

"Yes. Todd Blanche is violating the law. There's still millions of files they haven't released. We know from talking to the victims' lawyers that their own 302 forms haven't been released. We know that files have been over-redacted.

I have released at least three names of billionaires who are implicated in this. I don't think it's possible to get convictions with Todd Blanche at the top and FBI Director Kash Patel at the top, because they've effectively both perjured themselves by saying there's nobody else in the files.

Even Melania doesn't believe that. The first lady knows Jeffrey Epstein didn't act alone.

And here's the great thing, Kristen - whether I'm in Congress or not, the Epstein Files Transparency Act is law and it goes on for years. So if we can't get this attorney general and this FBI director to do the right thing, the next people who take those seats are obligated by law to release the files that these individuals are not releasing now."

TRUMP:

Wow, Jimmy Kimmel, who is in no way funny as attested to by his terrible Television Ratings, made a statement on his Show that is really shocking. He showed a fake video of the First Lady, Melania, and our son, Barron, like they were actually sitting in his studio, listening to him speak, which they weren’t, and never would be. He then stated, “Our First Lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.” A day later a lunatic tried entering the ballroom of the White House Correspondents Dinner, loaded up with a shotgun, handgun, and many knives. He was there for a very obvious and sinister reason. I appreciate that so many people are incensed by Kimmel’s despicable call to violence, and normally would not be responsive to anything that he said but, this is something far beyond the pale. Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired by Disney and ABC. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Melania Trump:

I call on Congress to provide the women who have been victimized by Epstein with a public hearing, specifically centered around the survivors.

Give these victims the opportunity to testify under oath before Congress, with the power of sworn testimony.

Each and every woman should have her day to tell her story publicly if she wishes. And then her testimony should be permanently entered into the Congressional record.

Only then will we have the truth.

My meeting with the Highly Respected President of China, President Xi Jinping, which was originally postponed due to our Military operation in Iran, has been rescheduled, and will take place in Beijing on May 14th and 15th. First Lady Melania and I will also host President Xi and Madame Peng for a reciprocal visit in Washington, D.C., at a later date, this year. Our Representatives are finalizing preparations for these Historic Visits. I look very much forward to spending time with President Xi in what will be, I am sure, a Monumental Event. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

NEW: U.S. President Donald Trump is seeking to lower the profile of his mass deportation effort, and has directed his top advisers to adopt a new approach on one of his central campaign promises, WSJ reported on Thursday night.

In conversations with top advisers and his wife Melania, Trump has become convinced that some of his administration’s deportation policies have gone too far, and voters don’t like the term “mass deportation.” The president has told them he wants to see more attention on arresting “bad guys” and less chaos in American cities.

At this time, there is no official word from the Trump administration on the Wall Street Journal report.
