Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Majed al-Ansari:

The $6 billion in frozen Iranian funds have not yet been transferred to Tehran, and their release depends on the progress of U.S.-Iran negotiations. The funds will be designated for the purchase of humanitarian goods.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majid Al-Ansari: “Some are benefiting from talk of disputes that don’t exist between the parties in order to undermine efforts to reach a ceasefire. We condemn and reject any attacks targeting energy facilities in Qatar and the region, they are vital for serving citizens and must be protected from any threat.”
