An "air bridge" to Washington is forming, i24NEWS reports. Senior Israeli officials, including defense figures, are expected in the U.S. capital in the coming weeks, against the backdrop of stalled U.S.-Iran talks and the framework agreement signed with Lebanon.

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar is expected to meet Secretary of State Marco Rubio in about a week and a half. Talks are also advancing on a visit by Defense Minister Israel Katz.

A source familiar with the matter: "The military option is still on the table."

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar:

“Just a short while ago, the Government of Israel approved the resolution I brought before it to officially recognize the Armenian Genocide.

This horrific genocide, which took place more than a century ago and whose historical facts are no longer seriously disputed, claimed the lives of 1.5 million people and destroyed an ancient cultural and historical heritage.

As Jews, and especially as the nation-state of the Jewish people, I believe it is our moral duty to make this decision. I want to thank Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his support and my fellow cabinet ministers for backing this historic step.”

Israeli Foreign Minister, Gideon Sa’ar:

The truth is that we are confronting a new phenomenon.

It's not the terror organizations.

It's terror states.

Terror states are created when a terror organization is taking over a certain territory and controls this territory and controls effectively the residents there.

Then it become a totally different thing and it is what happened in Gaza with Hamas.

This is what happened in Yemen with the Houthis and this is exactly what happened in Lebanon with Hezbollah.

And by the way, it is not only a Middle Eastern phenomenon today.

In Africa, we see it as well.

We can see it in Somalia. In Somalia, Al-Shabaab is controlling effectively significant parts of Somalia's territories.

And we can see this dismantling of states in Sudan, in Libya, in so many places today in the Sahel.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar says Israel is cutting off all contact with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.

“Recently, it was published that during her visit to Mexico, she compared Israel to the racist apartheid regime that existed in South Africa.

I am grateful to the many European elected representatives who condemned this grave statement.

However, to date, no denial, clarification or response has been issued by her regarding this severe statement.

Therefore, as the Foreign Minister of the State of Israel, I have no choice but to sever all contact with Ms. Kallas until she retracts the blood libel she directed at the world’s only Jewish state, which is also the only democracy in the Middle East.”

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar:

"Israel strongly rejects the decision to impose sanctions against Israeli citizens and organizations. The European Union has arbitrarily and politically chosen to impose sanctions against Israeli citizens and entities due to their political positions and without any basis. Equally outrageous is the intolerable comparison the European Union has chosen to make between Israeli citizens and Hamas terrorists. This is a completely morally distorted comparison."

Israel Foreign Minister, Sa'ar:

Unfortunately, Lebanon is a failed state, a state that is de facto under Iranian occupation through Hezbollah.

But this also leads to a conclusion: Hezbollah is a common enemy of Israel and Lebanon. Just as it threatens Israel’s security, it harms Lebanon’s sovereignty and threatens its future.

We do not have any serious disagreements with Lebanon. There are a few minor border disputes that can be solved.

The obstacle to peace and normalization between the countries is one: Hezbollah.
