UN Secretary-General condemns Israeli strike in Beirut.

Iran's Foreign Ministry called recent U.S. strikes "illegal and criminal," saying they violate the UN Charter and have made the April 8 ceasefire "effectively meaningless." The ministry warned regional states hosting U.S. forces that they now stand "alongside the aggressors" and demanded they deny the U.S. use of their territory. Iran said it retains the right to "neutralize the source and origin" of attacks as self-defense against U.S. aggression "and its accomplices."
