A CH-47 Heavy Lift Helicopter belonging to our Army Aviation Command has crashed for an as-yet unknown reason in the Ankara/Temelli area while conducting a training flight.
There is no negative situation regarding our personnel. The cause of the crash will be determined following a detailed investigation.
Turkey’s Ministry of Defense announced that a Turkish officer and two civilian employees of a Turkish security company were killed in a helicopter crash in Qatar, alongside four Qatari soldiers. The statement said the flight was for training purposes.
