Trump: "I'm number one on TikTok...that means my word's getting out about how great our country is, how successful our country is, and how bad Communism is, and how bad these lunatics are...that don't sound good, don't think good, and don't look good. I don't see any looker."

Important note on X algorithm changes (this may affect many of you):
X is now applying heavy reach reductions, up to 90% impression deductions, on reposted or third party content, including TV clips and simple excerpts which are very important in our reporting (ex. video Statements from heads of state)
The platform is clearly pushing for more original, native videos, especially talking videos with your own voice on camera. One example X highlighted was a man from Germany explaining why he left his home, or voiceover style reaction videos, closer to TikTok videos.
(We happen to be in pre production for long form original video content, but for videos we may prefer YouTube, unless X really can compete, as production costs are very high)
My feed has always been real time, verified security reporting. Fast alerts with primary sources, added context, and careful verification. We do not just copy and paste. Every post is checked. We have published over 95,000 posts. We are not perfect, and if we get something wrong, we will publicly correct it, like we always have.
That said, X stated that news accounts providing rapid updates would not be limited in their reach, but we have already seen a sharp drop in reach, and it may decline further as these changes roll out.
We have expanded our team and will continue to invest in accuracy, stronger verification, and proprietary intel. The mission stays the same. Delivering fast, reliable updates on the Middle East, geopolitics, and critical developments.
If you want to keep seeing these updates in your feed:
• You can turn on notifications
• Like, reply, or engage
If this work matters to you, you can quote this post and let X know that reducing reach on verified, real time news accounts hurts access to information when it matters most.
The mission does not change. Thank you for being here.
