Overnight, RAF Regiment gunners, operating in a high threat area, successfully downed multiple Iranian drones.

UK Typhoons and F-35 jets, supported by Voyager and Royal Navy Merlin and Wildcat helicopters, have continued their defensive missions over the Eastern Mediterranean, Jordan, Bahrain and UAE.

Force protection measures in the region continue to be at the highest levels – ensuring UK personnel are as safe as possible. We continue to work closely in coordination with allies.

Operations

New footage shows a British air defense unit taking down an Iranian attack drone in the Middle East using an LMM Martlet missile.

RAF Regiment gunners are stacking results, with at least 4 operators now credited with 5 or more kills each. Across the theater, UK forces have intercepted dozens of incoming drones, steadily tightening air defense control.
