Several armed Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives and other gunmen were killed in a southern Gaza strike yesterday, the IDF announced.

Paratroopers Brigade Reconnaissance Unit soldiers spotted the gunmen loading weapons into a vehicle and entering it. Airstrikes hit the car and the area around it shortly after.

The Lebanese army claims IDF forces fired near its units during a deployment in the village of Zoter al-Gharbiya, warning the incident could delay the pilot deployment.

Following the launches towards Jordan, several interceptors were fired at debris from the intercepted missiles in order to rule out the possibility of shrapnel falling within Israeli territory.

As a result, fragments of an interceptor were identified that fell in an open area near the city of Eilat, causing no damage and no injuries.

NEW: The IDF said explosions in Eilat were caused by Iranian missiles launched toward Jordan. Two Iron Dome interceptors were fired at debris as a precaution, while Israeli security source said the launches may have been a warning to Israel.

A Lebanese army vehicle struck an explosive in southern Lebanon earlier today, killing one soldier and wounding two others.

The IDF says the device was likely planted by Hezbollah, not Israeli. It went off in the Almanzuri area of the security zone, where Israeli forces have not been present recently. The Lebanese vehicle entered the zone without the required prior coordination.

A Hezbollah cell operating a drone near Israel's security zone in southern Lebanon was struck and killed today, the IDF says.

Commando Brigade troops spotted the drone over Kfar Tebnit. The IAF then located the operatives hiding nearby and struck them "to remove the threat to our forces."

The IDF is preparing operations to destroy large tunnel networks belonging to Hezbollah's Badr Unit in southern Lebanon, Channel 13 reports.
