The IDF announces it killed Osama Kamal Shehadeh Abu Teim, a commander of a cell in Hamas's military wing, in a strike Sunday in the southern Gaza Strip.

On October 7, 2023, Abu Teim raided Kibbutz Nir Oz and took part in abducting Nurit Cooper, Amiram Cooper, and Alexander Dancyg. The military says he continued advancing attacks on troops and Israeli civilians during the war.

Operations

IDF and Shin Bet: The head of the operations department of Hamas' Gaza City Brigade, terrorist Adham Ibrahim Shaaban Nasman, has been ELIMINATED.

Nasman crossed into Israel during the October 7 invasion and held many hostages in captivity in Gaza, among them Romi Gonen, Emily Damari, Ziv and Gali Berman, Eitan Mor, Matan Angrest and Omri Miran.

Operations

The IDF's Home Front Command is running its longest-ever humanitarian mission in La Guaira, Venezuela, near Caracas.

Roughly 32 Israeli experts are on the ground helping local authorities move from emergency response to rehabilitation after hundreds of buildings were destroyed. Mission commander Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yossi Pinto says the effort is in its third week and will run for months, even years.

Operations

NEW: Around 40 Hezbollah operatives are reportedly trapped inside a sprawling underground tunnel complex beneath the Ali Taher ridge.

The IDF has sealed the tunnel entrances, while Israeli security officials assess the operatives could run out of supplies within days, increasing the likelihood of a breakout attempt.

The complex reportedly stretches more than one kilometer and contains command centers, weapons depots, and rocket-launch facilities.

Alerts

A Lebanese army vehicle struck an explosive in southern Lebanon earlier today, killing one soldier and wounding two others.

The IDF says the device was likely planted by Hezbollah, not Israeli. It went off in the Almanzuri area of the security zone, where Israeli forces have not been present recently. The Lebanese vehicle entered the zone without the required prior coordination.

Italy has offered to work alongside the U.S. within the special verification mechanism for the pilot zones in southern Lebanon, meant to ensure the areas are cleared of Hezbollah weapons, a diplomatic source told Sky News Arabia.

Lebanon agrees to any European state joining the mechanism.

The Lebanese army will first deploy to Fron, then to Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh, al-Ghandouriyeh, Qalawiyeh, Burj Qalawiyeh and Sarifa.

The IDF opposes withdrawing from Zawtar al-Sharqiyeh under the plan.
