Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Sanctioned

Iran's Mehr news agency denies reports that Revolutionary Guards were trapped in tunnels at the Ali al-Tahr ridge in southern Lebanon. According to Mehr, only Hezbollah operatives were in the tunnels Israel struck, 48 in total, with eight killed.

A regional security source separately disputed the New York Times report, saying there are no IRGC advisors at the ridge and Iran's link to the infrastructure there was funding, not physical presence.

The IRGC claimed they shot down an MQ-1 UCAV above the Strait of Hormuz, earlier today.

There are two possibilities: the downed UCAV was a UAE-operated Predator XP, or it was an MQ-1C Gray Eagle operated by the U.S. Army.

This claim is currently unconfirmed.

Hossein Taeb, head of Iran's Basij militia, ordered the July attack on three merchant ships that collapsed the emerging U.S.-Iran understanding, three senior Iranian officials tell the New York Times.

The strike was decided by a hardline faction without the knowledge of the government or IRGC leadership.

CNN: Hundreds of IRGC officers are reportedly in Yemen working with the Houthis toward shutting the Bab el Mandeb Strait.

Iran has viewed closing the key waterway as an economic “nuclear option” if talks with the U.S. collapse.

The IRGC claims it struck a U.S. unmanned vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iranian state media.

Ten Iranian oil tankers, part of a network funding the Revolutionary Guards, were destroyed by U.S. forces over the past week, a U.S. official told the Jerusalem Post.

The IRGC says it will strike 20 enemy targets for every two or three Iranian targets hit. The Guards are also demanding an end to hostilities, an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, an end to Yemen's blockade, and the release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets.

Iran's IRGC Spokesperson: Maritime restricted area extends from Chabahar into parts of Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea.

IRGC entering martyrdom mentality

IRGC statement regarding tonight’s ballistic missile attack:

“The F-35, F-16, and F-15 fighter jet maintenance, preparation, and storage facilities in Al-Azraq air base, along with fighter jet shelters, were targeted.”

From monitoring IRGC accounts, this is the messaging they are pushing:

Don’t go for the kiII yet. Wait until 2 or 3 weeks before the elections, then go all out.

That would be on the IRGC’s terms. The U.S. most likely has different terms.

Reports of multiple IRGC linked oil tankers struck, not one.

IRGC Navy immediate warning: all oil tanker crews within the Kuwait and Bahrain dock areas must leave their vessels immediately, whether at anchorage or at the docks, as they will be targeted.

NOW: Locals are reporting anti-ship ballistic missiles launches towards the Strait of Hormuz, with at least three explosions being heard.

It’s unclear whether Iranian forces are targeting US Navy assets ore vessels attempting to transit the Syrait without IRGC permission.

Footage released by Iranian media shows what the IRGC claims is an American Dive-LD unmanned submarine captured today. Iran says the vessel is now in its possession.

Iran's deputy IRGC commander claims full control of the Strait of Hormuz, with fighters deployed across the southern Persian Gulf islands.

“In recent days,Washington has received a clear warning from ‘Iran’s new missiles.’ Economic warfare will be met by a maritime exclusion zone across the Persian Gulf to the blockade perimeter.The operational posture toward U.S. warships and bases has been fundamentally recalibrated.”
