An IDF medical officer was killed and seven soldiers wounded by a Hezbollah explosive drone in southern Lebanon, the military says.

Cpt. Dr. Ori Yosef Silvester, 30, the Givati Brigade's Shaked Battalion doctor from Tel Aviv, has been named as the fallen officer.

Three were seriously wounded, one moderately, and three lightly injured.

IDF: Forces from the Givati Brigade operating in southern Lebanon have destroyed more than 200 terrorist infrastructure sites and located over 1,000 individual weapons and munitions during their operations in the area.
