ON A POSITIVE NOTE: According to a recent report by FDD, U.S. and Israeli strikes during the Iran war disabled roughly 22,000 Iranian centrifuges and buried Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium underground. The report says Iran is no longer enriching uranium and currently has no operational enrichment facilities.
Note: Other assessments and the IAEA have said they cannot yet independently verify the status of all enriched uranium stockpiles or whether all enrichment activities have ceased.
