Scott Pelley compared his firing from 60 Minutes to losing a spouse, saying the decision blindsided him.

He defended challenging CBS leadership directly: "I felt that somebody had to stand up not just for the broadcast but for the people."

Pelley also accused executives of failing to grasp what journalists endure: "There are people in that room who go to war zones when they are pregnant."

PM Netanyahu in an interview with 60 Minutes:

60 Minutes sits down with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his first U.S. broadcast television interview since the Iran war began. It is expected to air tomorrow.

New footage released by 60 Minutes shows last year’s mid-air collision between an American Airlines passenger jet and a Black Hawk helicopter near Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. The January 29, 2025 crash killed 67 people, including 64 on the plane and 3 on the helicopter.
