A new armed faction, the Free Yemen Movement, has declared an uprising against the Houthis from inside Sanaa:
"We announce an armed uprising against the Houthi movement from within Sanaa due to the crimes committed by Iran and the Houthis.
This uprising comes in response to the Houthis' starvation, looting, theft, and killing of Yemenis, as well as their violation of Yemen's sovereignty and implementation of Iranian directives".

Tanker Approached by Boats Near Aden
UKMTO: 'UKMTO has received a report of an incident 50NM south of Aden, Yemen.
A tanker travelling east in the IRTC has reported being approached by 6 small boats approaching from the starboard side.
One small boat has closed to 5 cables and the AST on board the tanker has fired warning shots.
The other 5 small boats have remained at 1NM. Authorities are investigating.

The fighting began late Friday with sniper fire, followed by drone and mortar strikes, briefly overrunning government positions before pro government forces retook them in a counterattack at dawn on Saturday, according to two military officials cited by AFP; the clash has been described as the deadliest attack on government forces in years along this largely frozen front since the 2022 UN brokered truce.

Armed personnel damaged the bridge and several adjacent compartments before departing on a small craft with 4 aboard, armed with RPG. The crew remain secure in the citadel and are safe.
