Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baka'i:
"The opening of the Strait of Hormuz is conditioned on the conditions imposed on Iran, on this waterway and on the entire region, following the military aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime. We must remember that we are still at war.
As long as the U.S. naval blockade continues, along with its other violations, the necessary conditions will not be met for us to say the Strait of Hormuz has become a public, open waterway. The United States must stop these actions and compensate for the damage, and only then can we talk about the next steps."
