✅ FACT: The United States and regional partners control the strait as commercial vessels continue to transit despite unwarranted IRGC aggression.

🚫 CLAIM: Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed a Singapore-flagged container ship struck a naval mine in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday. This is FALSE.

✅ FACT: The civilian container ship M/V GFS Pride was hit by an IRGC projectile. The vessel sank while being towed to shore. Despite the attack, commercial ships continue to flow through the Strait of Hormuz (whose primary routes remain clear of mines), with more than 40 ships moving in the last 24 hours.

Barack Hussein Obama’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intercepted electronic communications between Hasan and the radical Yemeni-American cleric, Anwar al-Awlaki. When reviewed by his FBI terrorism task force, investigators concluded that Hasan's emails were not a threat. This assessment of the Obama Administration’s actions was later considered to be a key intelligence failure. The housing program Hezbollah rolled out this week will cost between $600 million and $800 million, sources close to the group told Lebanon's Annahar newspaper. Executive Council head Ali Daamoush deliberately kept the total out of his Tuesday press conference.

The plan pays up to $14,000 to families who lost homes in Beirut and its southern suburbs, and $12,000 to those elsewhere in Lebanon. Each payment includes $8,000 for furniture, with the remainder going to rent.

Iran sent Hezbollah $200 million to help the displaced, Reuters reported last week. The U.S. disputes that the transfer happened.
