Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said negotiations with the U.S. should continue even if the chance of success is only 10%, in remarks that point to internal disagreements over Tehran's approach.
"I am the Foreign Minister for the interests of the Islamic Republic, not for my own reputation," Araghchi said, adding, "If people in this country are shedding their blood, I must instead shed my reputation."

Aoun called for stronger U.S. backing of the Lebanese army and for institutionalizing American investment in energy, communications, and transportation.
Rubio said the U.S. supports Aoun's moves to restore sovereignty over all Lebanese territory.

U.S. Launches More Extensive Strikes on Iran Following Deaths of Two Service Members in Jordan Attack.
As a new round of U.S. strikes against Iran continues, American officials have told CBS News that tonight’s operations will be more extensive than previous ones, coming shortly after the U.S. military announced that two service members were killed in action in Jordan while defending against Iranian ballistic missiles and drones on July 17.

Iran is suspending all further commitments under its Memorandum of Understanding with the United States, effective immediately, per Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.
Dozens of additional US aerial refueling tankers headed to Israel will be stationed at Israeli airbases instead of Ben Gurion Airport, per the military.
The move keeps civilian aviation routes clear. The Transportation Ministry had already capped tankers at Ben Gurion at 20 to ease summer flight disruptions.
