The UK government has imposed new sanctions on 24 individuals and entities behind destructive cyber and hybrid operations, including cybercriminals operating in proxy networks linked to the Russian Intelligence Services (RIS).

London says the measures target the Russian state's "persistent and increasingly reckless attempts to sow chaos and division across Europe."

Andy Burnham, widely seen as the frontrunner to succeed Keir Starmer as UK prime minister, apologized for Labour’s initial response to Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.

“I know many people feel that my party didn’t get it right, and I am sorry about that,” Burnham told The Guardian. “The response has too often not been good enough. We need to do better.”

He added, “We’ve got to do more to put pressure on the Israeli government.”

“Yes, we have taken some important steps, but let’s be honest, the UK was too slow to call for a ceasefire,” Burnham said. “We must now do more to strengthen our approach.”

Burnham said a future government under his leadership would consider additional sanctions on Israeli individuals and entities, as well as potentially banning trade in goods produced in Israeli settlements.

To honor our brave men and women of the Military, we are sending the brand new, and truly spectacular, Air Force One to Mildenhall Air Force Base, in the United Kingdom, to give them a chance to tour the Aircraft — Everybody is so excited, and we thought that they should be the first. For old time’s sake, we’ll be taking the former Air Force One, from Turkey to Mildenhall, a short trip that is totally worth doing in order to give our Great Military Heroes a chance to appreciate our beautiful new addition to the Air Force Fleet!

"But I just want loyalty. You know, we're so loyal to them. We're always fighting for them!"

"We have thousands of troops all over Europe. In Germany, we have 50,000 troops, and then you want a little, give us a little nudge, give us a little kiss. We don't want much!"

"And they say, no, we can't do it. The troops that we have in Germany, the troops that we have in the UK, the troops that we have all over Europe."
