Last week, we issued an evacuation warning for areas in the city of Tyre following Hezbollah terrorist activity in the region and its violation of the ceasefire agreement. The evacuation warning did not include the Christian neighborhood in the city.
🔸In recent times, the Israel Defense Forces observed activity by dozens of Hezbollah operatives inside the Christian neighborhood, as this is not the first time we have uncovered Hezbollah activity from within Christian areas, believing that these areas provide it with a safer haven.
🔸To the members of the Christian community in the city of Tyre: Hezbollah continues to operate from within your surroundings. For the sake of your security and safety, demand the removal of Hezbollah operatives from your areas.
🔸And to the Hezbollah operatives present in the city of Tyre: You are not safe there. If you continue to remain and operate from inside this area, the Israel Defense Forces will issue instructions to evacuate the Christian neighborhood and will take the necessary measures against you.
