Taiz

A new "kill zone" has been declared around the port city of Mocha, with the Yemeni Armed Forces pledging "all types of various weapons and firepower" against the Houthis. Civilians are urged to avoid the Taiz-Mocha road until further notice.

Launched from Khamis Mushait and Taif, Saudi jets carried out 54 airstrikes across six governorates: Al-Jawf, Marib, Taiz, Hodeidah, Saada, and Al-Bayda.

Two Houthi field commanders were killed during clashes with government forces in Taiz, Yemen.

Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Alawi, known as Abu Jihad Alawi, died alongside 21 fighters from Amran. Manaa al-Ghuli a second field commander was also killed.

Houthis official: 'The Saudi enemy is targeting the Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda, Marib, and Taiz governorates with a number of airstrikes and cruise missiles.'

Northwest of Maqbana in Taiz this morning, Houthi forces claim they downed a Saudi Wing Loong II armed reconnaissance drone flying "hostile missions."

Fighting broke out between Yemeni government forces and the Houthis in the Taiz area, according to a report on Al-Hadath. Government forces reinforced their positions in the region. Military sources told the channel that troops repelled Houthi attacks and took control of several areas. Additional clashes were reported across other districts.

Houthi forces launched rocket and drone attacks on Saudi backed forces at Al Mukha port, west of Taiz, Yemen.
