Saudi military spokesman Gen. Turki al-Maliki:

Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed a Houthi ballistic missile launched at Riyadh before dawn. Further attempts on civilians and civilian sites in Bish, Ta'if, Farsan and Yanbu were all thwarted.

Al-Maliki called the Houthi escalation deliberate and systematic terrorist behavior, and said the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen retains the natural right to act as it sees fit to deter them.
