JPost: Saudi Arabia is weighing support for a Yemeni ground offensive to seize the Red Sea coast back from the Houthis. The report follows Tuesday's Houthi ballistic missile strike that killed crew members aboard the commercial vessel Tihamah in Bab-el-Mandeb.

NEW: The Houthis are using Russian satellites to guide attacks on Saudi Arabia and Saudi-backed forces in Yemen, a southern Yemeni anti-Houthi source tells Kan News. The source says Riyadh is aware, and the intelligence was passed to the U.S.

Saudi Arabia opposed including Egypt in the tripartite defense alliance with Pakistan and Turkey, per Middle East Eye. Riyadh is frustrated with President al-Sisi and no longer views Cairo as a strategic asset. Turkey had said Egypt may also join. It marks a shift for bin Salman, who once funded and protected Egypt.

NEW: The Houthis claim they targeted a vessel transporting Saudi military cargo through the Bab al Mandab Strait.

Houthi PM Mahdi Almshat responds to the Saudi-Turkish-Pakistani defense alliance signed today: the agreements do not apply retroactively, and the "blockade for blockade" equation will continue until its goals are met.

Anyone backing what he called Saudi Arabia's 12-year aggression and blockade is "an aggressor - even if he wraps the matter in flashy headlines."

NEW: Preliminary reports indicate the Iran backed Houthi terror group has launched a new attack targeting Saudi backed military positions in Yemen.

The Houthis say they will release a statement shortly.
