Petah Tikva is a city in Israel's Central District, part of the greater Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Known as one of Israel's oldest and most populous urban centers, situated in the densely populated coastal heartland. IDF: An Israeli soldier was killed and six wounded in a Hezbollah drone attack in southern Lebanon. Sgt. Idan Fooks, 19, from Petah Tikvah, is the third soldier killed despite the ceasefire.

Hezbollah launched two additional drones during the evacuation. One was intercepted. The second hit near the troops without further casualties.
