Mount Dov

Mount Dov, also known as Shebaa Farms, is a disputed territory at the intersection of the Israeli-Lebanese border and the Golan Heights. Known as a persistent flashpoint between Israel and Hezbollah, it has seen recurring cross-border skirmishes and militant infiltration attempts for decades. Operations

The IDF reports it has taken out more than 200 rocket launchers belonging to Hezbollah and killed over 250 members of its artillery units since the start of the fighting in Lebanon.

It says the destroyed launchers contained around 1,300 barrels in total. Among those killed were 15 commanders, including the head of artillery in Hezbollah’s Nasr regional division, which operates in the Mount Dov–Bint Jbeil sector.
