Metula Council Head Criticizes Ceasefire
David Azulai, head of the Metula Council (Northern Israel) and a member of Yisrael Beiteinu, responding to the ceasefire in the north:
“Northern residents feel betrayed once again today. That’s how we felt during ‘Swords of Iron,’ and that’s how we feel now. The fact that the President of the United States is the one announcing the ceasefire only highlights how disconnected Israel’s prime minister is from the public and from the reality of the northern residents.”
