Metula residents in northern Israel warned of possible hostile aircraft infiltration.

IDF exposes a major Iranian-financed Hezbollah tunnel network in the Shaqif mountains, built inside a civilian zone under six kilometers from Metulla. Designed for hundreds of fighters with long-term quarters, anti-armor platforms, air defense infrastructure, and surgical facilities.

Drones and missiles were launched from the site toward Israel.

The Lebanese Army was asked to address it under the ceasefire understandings. Hezbollah blocked them.

Three projectiles fired toward Metula were intercepted. No damage reported.

IDF forces have begun establishing a presence in the Beaufort Castle area of southern Lebanon.

Northern Command launched an operation along the Beaufort Ridge and the Saluki Valley to destroy terrorist infrastructure and eliminate operatives, as part of efforts to strengthen operational control in southern Lebanon and remove threats to Metula and the Galilee Panhandle.

IDF says it fired an interceptor at a suspected Hezbollah drone over southern Lebanon where troops are deployed. The drone did not cross into Israel. Interception results under review. Sirens sounded in Metula.

David Azulai, head of the Metula Council (Northern Israel) and a member of Yisrael Beiteinu, responding to the ceasefire in the north:

“Northern residents feel betrayed once again today. That’s how we felt during ‘Swords of Iron,’ and that’s how we feel now. The fact that the President of the United States is the one announcing the ceasefire only highlights how disconnected Israel’s prime minister is from the public and from the reality of the northern residents.”
