HEZBOLLAH INFILTRATION: LIVE ON SCENE

Incident still ongoing. No all clear has been issued.

The IDF says forces are continuing searches in the Ramim Ridge area, with Air Force aircraft operating overhead. Residents in Margaliot, Misgav Am, Manara, and the Yiftah area remain under stay indoors instructions.

According to the initial investigation, the terrorist entered the enclave between the international border and Israel’s security fence near Ramim Ridge. He was wearing a Hezbollah uniform and was armed with a rifle and knife. He was only detected after opening fire on IDF troops, who returned fire and eliminated him.

The incident occurred near an abandoned IDF position just minutes from the homes of Margaliot. Highway 886 remains closed.

Reports of a second attacker remain unconfirmed. The IDF has only confirmed the elimination of one terrorist and says searches are continuing.
