"UKMTO has received a report of an incident 8NM east of Limah, Oman.
A tanker has reported being hit by an unknown projectile on the port side causing a fire, whilst travelling southbound."

Indian Cargo Ship Sinks Off Oman
An Indian-flagged cargo vessel sank off the coast of Oman after an explosion on Wednesday, according to maritime security firm Vanguard.
India's foreign ministry condemned the attack as "unacceptable," confirming all 14 Indian crew were rescued by Omani authorities.
The ship was identified as the MSV Haji Ali, which went down near Limah, just south of the Strait of Hormuz.
No attribution of responsibility was given.
