Iran's Revolutionary Guards claim a drone attack on Kuwait's Ali Al Salem Air Base destroyed an early-warning radar and hit a warehouse, an MQ-9 hangar, and several drones.

Kuwait's Defense Ministry: Enemy ballistic missiles and drones were intercepted in Kuwaiti airspace since dawn.

Iranian strikes hit facilities of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, sparking fires and heavy damage to vital installations.

Kuwait: "Iran bears full responsibility for the attack on civilian infrastructure."

Condemning the strike on an electricity and water desalination facility.

The Al Subiya Power Plant in northern Kuwait, that was hit by Iran, is the country’s largest power station and a major desalination facility.

The impact appears limited so far. Kuwait urged power conservation, took units offline as a precaution, and said the grid remains stable as repairs continue.

The UAE condemned Iran's attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan as a violation of sovereignty and reaffirmed full solidarity with the three states, per the Foreign Ministry.

Iranian Journalist Mahdi Khanalizadeh:

“Kuwait is considered one of Iran's principal options for a potential ground incursion aimed at seizing the two U.S. military bases located within the country.”

Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity says an Iranian strike targeted a power generation and water desalination plant for the second time in two days, causing a fire and damaging several generating units. Emergency crews are responding and contingency plans have been activated to stabilize the power grid.

Earlier today, Kuwait's Ministry of Defense said multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones were intercepted over Kuwaiti airspace since early morning.

Iranian strikes hit military, security, civilian, oil, electricity and water infrastructure, causing fires and significant damage. Several firefighters and oil sector workers were injured. Falling debris damaged residential areas, with no civilian fatalities or injuries reported.

Kuwaiti forces remain on high alert.

Earlier, Kuwait International Airport was overwhelmed with congestion following the closure of the country's airspace, a move triggered by the relentless Iranian strikes.

Earlier, a Kuwaiti power and desalination plant was hit by Iran, sparking a fire. It's the second such strike in two days, after a similar plant was hit yesterday. Kuwait relies on desalination for roughly 90% of its drinking water.

Kuwait's Defense Minister visited soldiers wounded in this morning's Iranian strikes on army facilities and camps.

Kuwait and Pakistan are in early talks over an expanded defense pact tied to energy cooperation. No deal has been finalized.
