Last night, an Iranian surface-to-air missile system was seen burning after U.S. airstrikes targeted an area near the Imam Khomeini Port Special Economic Zone in Iran's Khuzestan Province along the Persian Gulf coast.

The IAEA is investigating an attack on the construction site of Iran's Darkhovin nuclear plant in Khuzestan. It confirmed no nuclear material was present at the last inspection. Iran's AEOI blamed the U.S. for the strike.

According to Iranian state affiliated Fars, the U.S. fired several missiles at the Darkhovein nuclear power plant site, currently under construction in Khuzestan, at around 3:39 a.m. local time.

According to Khuzestan's deputy governor, the United States struck three sites in Abadan at 13:45 local time today. At least one person has been injured so far, with further damage assessments still underway.
