Iran Attacks Bulk Carrier in Hormuz
ICYMI: Last night, Iran attacked the Liberia flagged bulk carrier MV Minoan Pioneer as it transited the Strait of Hormuz.
According to reports, the Greek owned vessel was struck about 23 nautical miles northeast of Khasab, Oman, while sailing through the U.S. designated southern shipping lane.
According the reports, the crew abandoned ship, and 1 crew member is reported still missing.

A tanker reported being hit by an unknown projectile 19NM east of Khasab, Oman, with minor damage to its port side, according to UKMTO. All crew are accounted for and the vessel is continuing to its next port. An investigation is underway.
US Missile Allegedly Hits Dhow in Oman
Iran's governor of Sirik claims a U.S. missile struck a 150 ton cargo dhow in the Sea of Oman early this morning.
The vessel was reportedly carrying goods from Khasab, Oman, toward Hormozgan province when it was hit 5 miles from port at around 5 a.m.
All 5 crew members were rescued by passing vessels and transferred to Oman.
