So far, Iran hasn’t responded yet, though it likely will. You’d assume that if they attacked a ship for passing an “unauthorized route”, they would already be prepared for an immediate response to the retaliation.

The Navy has since raised its alert level. Shin Bet chief David Zini reportedly warned in closed sessions that Eilat could be the site of "the next October 7," though the Shin Bet says no specific current threat exists. Security in the area had already been bolstered months earlier with IDF and police drills simulating raids and attacks.

Iranian state media published footage it claims shows the attacks.
