IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has ordered a legal review of the documentary "NAZA" and a separate probe into how classified materials used in it were leaked.
The film covers Israel's AI-powered strikes in Gaza and features testimonies from 24 purported Israeli intelligence soldiers.
Zamir: "It is based on blood libels, deliberate distortion of reality, and false and serious accusations against IDF soldiers and commanders."

Smotrich Calls Syria Problematic
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich on Syria:
You have the Sunni axis. Syria is already an ISIS state. Jolani [Ahmed al-Sharaa] put on a suit and disguised himself, and they like him a little in the United States, but Syria is problematic.
And its connection with Turkey -- that is a rising Sunni axis.
We will have to be a strong and powerful country.
Warning Over Houthi Bab el-Mandeb Risk
An Israeli source warns that a Houthi takeover of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait could prove worse than Hormuz, which currently draws most of the world's attention. The IDF has released new details on the three-month operation to capture the Ali Tahr Ridge in southern Lebanon.
Around 50 Hezbollah terrorists barricaded inside the underground tunnels chose to fight to the death. Israel offered them a chance to surrender through intermediaries in Lebanon. They refused and were eliminated.
Yahalom fighters found drones, anti-tank missiles and other weapons inside. Egoz fighters carried out ambushes near the shafts. Hezbollah's attempts to rescue or resupply the trapped men were disrupted.
Israel informed the U.S., which then notified the Lebanese government.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz:
“Given the possibility that, due to the economic stranglehold and intense pressure Iran is under, it may decide to take action against Israel, I once again warn the Iranian leadership: Any attack on Israel, for any reason and from anywhere, will be met with a powerful response that will inflict severe damage on Iran--damage it has never suffered before--including strikes on its key energy facilities, which provide resources and capabilities for Iran’s war and terrorism apparatus and for attacks against Israeli civilians.
“In accordance with the directives of the prime minister and myself, the IDF is on alert and prepared to carry out the mission.
“Such a blow would set Iran back decades and further destabilize the ayatollah regime, which the Iranian people so deeply despise and long to see fall.”

Former U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, on raising with Aoun the return of the remains of Beirut's Jewish community leaders killed in the Second Civil War:
"The picture I got was that there was a very sincere effort to find the remains. They found remains that turned out not to be authentic. But I think the important thing is that they tried, and it was a sincere effort, and they will continue to try because they want to build trust with Israel, just as you are building it with the release of the prisoners."
