Kristi Noem: The U.S. has "gang suppression forces" that will be deployed into Haiti.

A vessel carrying 240 Haitian migrants was intercepted this week after CBP Air and Marine Operations located it taking on water and in danger of sinking. The U.S. Coast Guard and international partners assisted in the operation, preventing a potential catastrophic loss of life. None of the migrants gained entry to the U.S.

At least 30 people, many of them school-age children as young as 12, were killed in a stampede at the Citadelle Laferrière fortress in Milot, Haiti, after heavy rains triggered panic at a gathering advertised on TikTok, the Miami Herald reports, citing local officials.
