A drone crossed into Bulgaria from Romania at 8:10 a.m. Saturday and exploded about 100 meters inside Bulgarian territory near a Trans-Balkan gas pipeline compressor station. Bulgaria's Defense Ministry says it was likely a Ukrainian MAYA decoy drone. No indication the crash was intentional.

Iran's FM Spokesman Esmail Baghaei:

In the past 24 hours, we have received numerous calls from the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, and Ukraine, all stating that they will not be a part of any conflict against Iran.

Iranian FM Araghchi warned Bulgaria over its decision to host US military aircraft at Bezmer Air Base for operations against Iran, calling it "unacceptable."

Iranian TV host Mohammad-Jafar Khosravi:

"Our missiles can easily reach Ukraine, Bulgaria and Diego Garcia."

He warned Ukraine that hostile actions against Iran would be met with a severe response.

Bulgaria Backs Trump, Approves US Air Base Support Despite Iran Threats:

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson warned Bulgaria's parliament against permitting the U.S. to use Bulgarian territory or airspace for military action against Iran.

Bulgaria will bar U.S. military aircraft from Sofia's airport after June over Washington's failure to grant Bulgarians visa-free travel. PM Radev notified the U.S. directly.
