Israeli PM Netanyahu says he ordered the IDF to strike Hezbollah "with force" following yesterday's attack that killed Lt. Col. Dor Gedalia Ben Shimhon and three other soldiers - calling it a blatant ceasefire violation.

The IDF hit over 80 terror targets, eliminated dozens of operatives, and struck Hezbollah command posts in the Bekaa Valley this morning.

Netanyahu: "Israel will not tolerate attacks on our soldiers or our territory and will exact a very heavy price from Hezbollah." He added Israel will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon as long as necessary to protect villages in the North.

Alerts

The IDF struck more than 80 Hezbollah targets across southern Lebanon overnight, including headquarters, launch positions, and terror infrastructure in the Nabatieh area and beyond. Two command centers in the Bekaa Valley were also hit. Dozens of Hezbollah operatives were eliminated. The military said the strikes were a response to repeated ceasefire violations.

Israeli PM Netanyahu:

The battle against Hezbollah in the north is being managed, and I must tell you that there are very impressive results here.

Our forces have crossed the Litani, they have ascended to the dominant terrain, and we are also operating in Beirut, operating in the Bekaa, across the entire width of the front, and striking Hezbollah decisively.
