Iranian state media footage shows armed men in Bandar Jask, captioned "People of Bandar Jask, weapons in hand, are waiting for the arrival of American forces."

So far, a new wave of U.S. strikes has been reported across Hormozgan Province, targeting Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Sirik, and Jask. Initial reports indicate at least 15 strikes hit the Bandar Abbas area alone.

The 2nd Hazrat Rasoul Brigade of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army announced that Hamidreza Dehghan, a member of the army’s air defense unit in the Jask region, was killed during a U.S. military attack early on Sunday morning.

Mehr News reports more than 4 explosions were heard in Jask. Reports of loud explosions were also heard in Konarak and Chabahar.

I’m now hearing reports of blasts in Konarak, Jask, and Chabahar.

Several explosions heard in Bandar Abbas and across parts of the Persian Gulf near Sirik and Jask - Fars News Agency.

The Iranian NITC VLCC supertanker SEA STAR III was struck near Jask on May 8 after a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet fired on the vessel from the USS George H.W. Bush. @mamlekate

The strike came after the ship failed to comply with the US Navy.

IRGC Navy: Following the violation of the ceasefire and the aggression by the U.S. military against an Iranian oil tanker near Jask, a large scale combined operation was launched against enemy destroyers in the Strait of Hormuz using anti ship ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and kamikaze drones.”

The IRGC claims 3 U.S. warships were damaged and forced to withdraw from the area.
