al-Rashidiya

Also known as Rachidiyeh, Rashidiya

Al-Rashidiya is a Palestinian refugee camp in southern Lebanon, near Tyre, established in 1936 and administered by UNRWA. Known as one of Lebanon's oldest refugee camps, it has historically been situated in an area of sustained Hezbollah presence and recurring conflict. Recently, the camp has been subject to IDF evacuation warnings and airstrikes targeting alleged Hezbollah military infrastructure in the area. Last updated 6 days ago
