IDF reveals Operation "Eagle": special unit forces landed in the heart of the Christophani Ridge in southern Lebanon minutes before the ceasefire took effect.
The operation was approved by the Chief of Staff and commanded by the IAF commander and Northern Command chief. The IDF says it remains on immediate alert and will continue to remove threats between the border and the ceasefire line.
