Israel Foreign Ministry statement said, "Israeli Ambassador to Russia Oded Yosef met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Borisenko and noted that prior warning was given regarding IDF activity in the area of the incident at the Kasmieh crossing on the Litani River. The ambassador emphasized that any attempt to attribute the incident to a deliberate act against journalists is ridiculous and far from reality. In his conversation with the Deputy Foreign Minister, the ambassador criticized Russia's one-sided conduct during the operation, its support for Iran, and the absence of any Russian condemnation of the targeted fire by the Iranian regime and Hezbollah on civilian concentrations in Israel."
