FACT: Dahiyeh, southern Beirut is Hezbollah’s main urban stronghold and political center.

Tucker Carlson: “I don’t understand why Israel wants to destroy Lebanon for reasons that are not clear at all, or murder Christians wholesale. Why are they bombing Beirut? It’s not a traditional Hezbollah stronghold.”

Also, he’s simply engaging in blood libel by claiming Israel is attacking Christians “wholesale” in Lebanon.

UPDATE: There was no strike on Beirut (yet). The explosion heard in the area was caused by Israeli fighter jets breaking the sound barrier.

Hezbollah is going to get hit, and probably in Beirut. Hezbollah just launched a salvo at Israel.

They were intercepted without alarms.

I give it a few days before Hezbollah is struck in Beirut again.

It’ll be interesting to see how the regime will act.

I’m not convinced the regime is enjoying this adventure anymore.

If Israel strikes Beirut, the IRGC has indicated it would respond with further attacks on Israel.

In other words, whether this holds or unravels may depend on whether Hezbollah stays quiet.

President Trump told Fox News he was unhappy with Israel’s initial strikes on Beirut’s saying they were not coordinated with the U.S.

Trump added that Washington was close to reaching a deal with Iran before the attacks took place.

IDF Home Front Command completed a fresh assessment. No changes to civilian guidelines. Iran had threatened to respond to today's Israeli strikes on Hezbollah in Beirut.

IDF struck a Hezbollah headquarters in Beirut's southern suburbs and released footage of the hit.

The site was used to coordinate attacks on Israel and forces in southern Lebanon.

The strike followed a Hezbollah rocket attack on northern Israel.

I want to give a bit of credit here, before Israel struck Beirut, they called the White House, said “Hezbollah broke the agreement” do we have green light?

President Trump (and team) said YES.

They know the risk, and they still said yes.

It’s very good. (Not that Israel had to ask, but that they said ‘yes’)

Rezaei, Iranian lawmaker: "Tehran will give a painful response to Israel's attack on Beirut."

Hezbollah was nice to strike Israel on a Sunday, so Israel can strike Beirut in return when markets are still closed.

The Islamic regime is now in a tough spot after Israel struck Beirut.

They promised to strike northern Israel if Israel attacked Beirut.

If they don’t strike, they risk looking very weak, if they do strike, Israel will respond quite harshly.

1. Trump says he does want Lebanon to be part of any agreement with Iran.

2. Israel strikes Beirut, a clear red line for the IRGC.

There is a clear message here.

Iranian state media claims that the IRGC’s Khatam al-Anbia headquarters has placed “Operation True Promise 5” on standby following Israeli strikes in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district.

Following the IDF strike in Beirut, the Home Front Command instructions in northern Israel unchanged so far.

Israeli security officials told Channel 14 the Beirut strike was driven by the target location, not the people inside. The command center may have held operatives, but they were junior-level.

Iranian state media: Supreme National Security Council has called an emergency session following Israel’s strike on Beirut’s Dahiyeh district.

They promised to strike israel, cancel ceasefire if Israel strikes Beirut.

We may get a strong worded statement and threat, or maybe more, depending on the regimes appetite.

Iran striking israel is not like striking Kuwait. Israel will respond harshly.
